Was This Great Bass-Baritone Ivan Rebroff or Hans-Rolf Rippert?

Does It Matter?

Born in Berlin of Russian parents, Ivan Rebroff was a bass-baritone with an extraordinary range of four and a half octaves, ranging from low bass to the soprano (falsetto) register.  It is an amazing voice which he chose to use mainly for singing Russian folk songs, but also performed opera, light classics and folk songs from other countries.
